INCIBE has awarded the Polytechnic University of Catalonia a Cybersecurity Chair
The project involves conducting dissemination activities, research, and academic improvement within the framework of cybersecurity focused on healthcare environments.
Continuous dissemination and promotion of a cybersecurity culture are fundamental to protect patient data confidentiality, ensure the continuity of medical care, and safeguard system integrity in the healthcare sector.
RAISE AWARENESS, INNOVATE, EDUCATE AND COLLABORATE.
How do we do it? We focus on developing content to facilitate dissemination through multiple channels: YouTube, specialized in-person training, press releases, along with organizing events for various audiences. We work on improving university training programs in collaboration with entities such as the Cybersecurity Agency of Catalonia, TecnoCampus, and the i2CAT Foundation, drawing inspiration from the Delft University of Technology to enhance the skills of future professionals. Additionally, we engage in activities to generate new knowledge and innovation by researching and developing tools to protect sensitive medical data, applying techniques such as Zero Knowledge, Blockchain, IoT… always fostering research in cybersecurity.
The project is led by the ISG-MAK group of the UPC:
